5 Important things to keep reminding yourself about

 Waqar Ahmed | Blogger

  1. Mindset
  2. Thinking
  3. Habit
  4. Distractions
  5. Success

MINDSET

“Proper thinking before the execution is very important. One’s hard work won’t effectively bring remarkable change unless there is positive intention involved. Muhammad Ali is the greatest and the whole world accepted it, not because of his solemn words but his determination to preach what he said. It’s called the right mindset. Follow Muhammad Ali’s formula to be the greatest.

THINKING

“One needs to focus on inside and introspect the quality of thoughts in it. Human actions always resonate with thoughts whether positive or negative. The neurons won’t help in achieving the greatness unless we help those neurons connect through a positive attitude.”

“If one wants to think great then one must focus on creating an environment that allows for the free speech and respect for the opposing views.”

HABIT

“It is a result of actions we often do on repeat. Once it shifts to autopilot, it becomes a serious challenge to get away from it. Make sure your habits incline towards the passion you always dream about.

DISTRACTIONS

When someone says, “It’s because I have got lots of distractions in life that I don’t get enough time to focus on things I’m passionate about, he’s lying to himself.

One generates these sorts of excuses when the victim mode is on as it allows that person to collect the evidence to send the neurological signal to one’s brain that the distractions are the real big problem, and there is nothing that one can do about it. Think out of the victim mode and don't allow your shoddy belief to bore the hell out of you.

SUCCESS

“If one wants to be successful in life, one needs to believe in hard work. There is no luck without sincere gratitude towards goals and dreams. Build trust in yourself and work hard – the success will take care of itself.”

Thank you for your company!

Emily Elizabeth Dickenson: The greatest Poet

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all, - And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. - I’ve heard it in the chilliest land, And on the strangest sea; Yet, never, in extremity, It asked a crumb of me. In the thorns, we found strength and in flowers we found pain. That is the situation you caught in when you read the lines of Emily Dickenson. The finest poet of the 19 th century enlightened with the figments of death and immortality in her words. Emily is a great American poet and deserves to be known across the globe for her art. Her writing had brought her to a point where there was no fear to be afraid of. Not even her death. America at that time was facing some identity challenges as women were yet to be emancipated from their Kitchens and there were no vote ri...

What is a Wasteman Loop & How to avoid it?

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science What is a wasteman Loop? For the past few days, I have been doing a lot of social media surfacing without realizing the effects of it on my productive life. I was so indulged in social media scrolling, liking, and sharing weird cat posts that I never realized I was wasting more than 4 hours per day of my precious life. Being into some business where there is no return value or profit is what I call a wasteman loop. Every once in a while I return to this wasteman life and I have to push myself again to keep focused on the main objectives in life. This on and off productivity is what I call the loop. I’m constantly worried about two things to happen in my life, first, when I start wasting my time on social media or any other stuff that adds zero value to my life, second, the continuous fight with consistency to not return to wasteman life and still end up becoming the wasteman I loathe. How does it affect your productivity? Being a wasteman has...

Welcome 2022 with these Five new Habits

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science Time flies like a storm. In two weeks we would be bidding farewell to 2021. To be honest, there is no special feeling about the change of the year. It would be just another day in the life. You probably would be doing the same work on 1 st January 2022 like you were busy doing on 31 st of December, 2021.  Science suggests that having new goals and targets surely have an impact on life. Purpose gives reason to wake up earlier and start doing the work passionately. Jordan B. Peterson thinks that life without a formal schedule is a mess. You need to have proper planning in life. So if you missed doing any experiment with your life and want to improve productivity, this New Year's eve is the best chance to do it. Following are the five habits you should immediately start working on as you enter New Year: 1. Read Books No matter how voraciously you were reading books previously. Start again. Make a comprehensive list of the books you want t...
